Mines Labor Welfare Commissioner Punjab Scholarship 2024 – The Mines Labor Welfare Commissioner, Government of Punjab, is offering scholarships for children of miners to support families with financial difficulties. Eligibility Criteria for Mines Labor Welfare Commissioner Punjab Scholarship

To qualify, workers must meet the following requirements:

  • A person qualifies as a miner if they meet the definition of a worker under the Mining, Industrial, and Commercial Employment Ordinance of 1968, are registered with EOBI, and have worked for at least 3 years.
  • Categories 1, 2, and 3 do not require a minimum employment duration.
  • Workers not registered with EOBI can submit an affidavit, attested by the Notary Public and the Assistant Mines Labour Welfare Commissioner, along with their full information.
  • Children of deceased or disabled workers are also eligible for this scholarship.

How to apply for the Mines Labour Welfare Commissioner Punjab Scholarship

Application forms can be picked up from Mines Labour Offices in Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Khushab, D.G. Khan, and Multan. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applicants must submit the following documents with their application form:

  2. Worker’s Social Security Card or Old Age Benefit Card
  3. Attested copy of the worker’s firm card or appointment letter
  4. CNIC or Family Registration Certificate for the student, issued by NADRA
